Increased piracy attacks and the threat of terrorist incidents have focused attention on the need for a reliable ship security alert system (SSAS).

FELCOM 16 SSAS (FURUNO)
The FELCOM 16 with SSAS facility is a Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) based on mini-C mobile earth station. The standard performance of these FELCOM series meets the requirement of IMO MSC.136(76) and MSC.147(77).

SAILOR TT-3000SSA (Thrane&Thrane)
The standard SAILOR TT-3000SSA package consists of a SAILOR TT-3026M mini-C transceiver with 20 meter* transceiver cable, interconnection box, followed by two alert buttons and one test button that can be installed up to 50 meters** away from the interconnection box.
